"It's going to happen again": Miguel Uribe's wife shares new statement on critical situation

Miguel Uribe Turbay, a senator and presidential candidate for the Democratic Center party, was attacked by a 14-year-old hitman. The young man shot him twice in the head and once in the leg last Saturday, June 7. The incident occurred while he was participating in a political event in El Golfito Park, located in the Modelia neighborhood of Fontibón, Bogotá.

María Claudia Tarazona, Miguel Uribe Turbay's wife, has remained by his side since he was transferred to the initial medical center in Engativá and has been by his side throughout his time at the Santa Fe Foundation in Bogotá, where he has undergone multiple surgeries.

Through her social media platforms, María Claudia Tarazona shared an image showing Senator Miguel Uribe Turbay inside the Senate chambers . In the photo, he holds his cell phone while participating in a video call with his wife and their young son, Alejandro, who is only 4 years old.

"With God's help, with God's love, with the love that keeps you alive, it will happen again! I love you, love of my life," María Claudia wrote when sharing the photo.
